We have written and recorded all of the songs for the new album, with 6 of them completed.  We continue to refine and improve the remaining songs but should have them how we want them in a week or so.  Our designer is working on the cover, we have chosen a name, and we will be announcing more details soon.  Check back and tell your friends.  We are excited about this project and think you will love it more than SEVERITY!
We are also proud to announce that we have partnered with talented video producer Ryan Pierson to film a video to the song "THE MORE THINGS CHANGE".  So far, we have been amazed by his vision and artistry. He has been extremely adaptable, considering we live on different continents!  Stay tuned...
 

Dale and Alan had a marathon 12 hour session today, with Dale in New Zealand and Alan in Kentucky, working remotely to add finishing touches and perfecting the songs.  Recording, emailing, and editing for 12 hours can make you crazy, but the songs are really going to blow you away.  These songs are bigger, badder, and more complex than the set from SEVERITY.  Things are moving along quickly, so stay tuned for more information.

The new album is coming along great, and so far we can tell you that our direction is growing and pushing further than when we recorded SEVERITY.  We will still maintain our sound and originality, but we are really trying some extremely crazy and unusual sounds and approaches. We learned from our first album that you guys can handle it. You wouldn't be a fan of TWWB if you didn't want things to be out of the ordinary.  
Expect the cover and album title to be released soon, and we will be offering pre-orders here or crowd funding when we have all the songs arranged and are ready to send to our mastermind engineer, Tim Bushong.  It is difficult, time consuming, and expensive to make fresh, different sounding heavy music. Thank you for your support.  We will need it even more with this new album.  More updates soon!  Stay tuned!

Progress on the new album from The World Will Burn is coming rapidly.  Alan has written the music to 7 new songs, and Dale is working on lyrics.  They are working together on arrangements currently.  EP or LP?  This question is still unanswered, but so far the songs will be consistent with SEVERITY but with some improvements over their freshman release.  
TWWB is curious about including a remix from SEVERITY on the new project, so if you or someone you know is good at mixing please contact us at TWWBexchange@gmail.com.  Feel free to include a sample of your work.  If you know the band, you know that there are no limits and your passion and creative vision are what is important.  
The band is exploring crowdfunding to help pay for the mixing and printing of this truly independent release.  If they go that route, we will be sure to let you know where you can support it.

Dale and Alan are busy writing music and lyrics for the next TWWB album.  they want to keep the same sound that was successful on SEVERITY but are leaning more toward the experimental side.  Songs like BURNING SUNSET GLOW, INNOCENT DREAM, and THE ME DYING were extremely popular with fans for their "out of the box" sounds and arrangements.  Don't worry, the new songs are full of the nasty hooks and riffs that define the sound of TWWB.  

So far there are 5 or 6 songs with music written, and more will be added if some don't make the cut.  Right now they are leaning toward an EP with a faster release date and then possibly a follow up EP within a year.  This way they can get the music out to you faster and at a lower cost.  They are also considering crowdfunding on the next release, and may have lots of interesting packages available if they do.  

So far the new album is unnamed.  Hopefully cover art and the title will be released in the next few weeks.
